BTE (Barrier Tank External), are chemical tanks with single walls, where external barriers/collection systems are used.
The tanks are constructed from PEHD (High-Density Polyethylene), which is a robust, recyclable and durable material.
At present, PE is the material normally used for the manufacture of pumping stations, tanks, wells and pressurised pipework, as it is particularly durable in a Nordic climate, and is a light material with superior corrosion resistance suitable for many types of liquids.
The tanks can be specially adapted according to customer requirements and are designed to ensure simple and secure operations.
Tanks are normally supplied in a black colour externally/light grey internally. Tanks are constructed according to Norwegian standards in tank regulations. This also means that they are supplied with technical barriers designed to secure the environment against leakage and possible contamination.
