Barrier Tank Compact (BTC), is a chemical tank in which all surfaces in contact with liquids have double walls and a double bottom.

The tanks are supplied fully assembled with flanges, pipes and manholes that comply with the requirements for your installation. The construction of the tanks is adapted to meet the needs of the customer, providing effective operations and secure handling of liquids. Installation of tanks is quick and simple.

The tanks comply with the Pollution Control Regulations Section 18-6 (c) regarding spill collection systems.

The tanks are constructed from PEHD (High-Density Polyethylene), which is a robust, recyclable and durable material. At present, PE is the material normally used for the manufacture of pumping stations, tanks, wells and pressurised pipework, as it is particularly durable in a Nordic climate, and is a light material with superior corrosion resistance suitable for many types of liquids.

Tanks are normally supplied in a black colour externally, light grey internally.

NOFI supplies tanks with a volume of up to 40 m3 per tank. The tanks are constructed and designed for each individual installation, in collaboration with the customer - i.e., height, diameter, pipe systems and the location of connectors for sensors can be tailored to suit the particular system.
